Some trends come and go. Some trends stay relevant season after season and tie-dye is one of them! This origin of this design technique dates back to the 8th century in Japan. I had no idea of this until further researching and I think that it is so cool being Asian myself! My first experience with tie-dye takes me back to my memories as a teen and participating in church youth activities. I was mesmerized by the process!

Now, my 13 year old daughter Chloe loves to tie-dye too and has created cute socks, sweatshirts, and tees with this psychedelic pattern. Tie-dye is is a favorite among many because of its casual cool bohemian vibe. And, a plus that you can create tie-dye pieces yourself. Perfect for the DIY person!
