There are so many reasons why I love reverse dieting. Reverse dieting is an eating plan that involves slowly and strategically increasing your calorie intake over several weeks or months to heal and boost your metabolism from a period of dieting. If you are following my Instagram, you will know that I recently completed a 90–day body transformation challenge earlier this year. It was one of my hardest and most satisfying endeavors to date. I lost 10 pounds and gained so much knowledge and greater appreciation for my incredible body. My coach Sami from Team Fitbliss guided and supported me throughout the entire grueling process. I am so grateful to have her in my corner!
With her help, I am in the thick of my reverse diet. I am going to save the cons of this process in another post. Today, I am going to focus on the joys of reverse dieting. I love that I can eat more! I have more wiggle room in carbohydrates and this means I can fit in Oreos and chocolate if I want. With added carbs in my macro distribution, I have added strength and energy to kill it every day when I hit the gym. These two major perks of reverse dieting help me stay on track and build the body of my dreams!
