There are two types of girls in the world: ones who love wearing jeans and ones who love wearing dresses. I am with TEAM DRESS! Since, I was a little girl I have always loved wearing skirts and dresses of all kinds. You would think my preference for dresses would change when temperatures drop but it doesn’t. I found that sweater dresses are the perfect choice for fall and winter because they keep you warm while looking fashionable!
I love this one I am wearing from The Gap, the ribbed knit fabric with long sleeves has a slimming silhouette and is also very comfortable. The neutral color of heathered gray and black make it a perfect backdrop for sporting colorful accessories. Make sure to include a neutral colored sweater dress in your wardrobe because I guarantee you it will be a piece you will wear year after year!
Pairing colorful accessories like my bag and shoes with neutral basics creates the most impactful fashion statement! Nena and Co. in my mind has the most colorful and vibrant purses available. Their curated vintage fabrics from Guatemalan markets are iconic. And I love suede shoes because they are hard to scuff and color(s) in them hold well. Don’t let the cold weather stop you from wearing a dress. Remember a sweater dress is the perfect cold weather staple to looking on trend and cozy!
