Fair Trade Jewelry
Why is it important to support fair trade? First, you are making a global difference for people who live in underdeveloped countries that work so hard to survive. When you invest in fair trade jewelry (also fair trade clothing or food) proceeds go back to support men, women, and children in need.
Standards have been created and are honored to ensure that artisans working for fair trade companies will make a living as opposed to working under conditions where they are in harm’s way and/or not fairly compensated for their laborious work.
