Seven Magic Mountains | #7MagicMountains

On our drive to home from visiting family in Utah we decided to make an impromptu stop in Southern Nevada in the desert!  I was relieved when my family was in for the adventure because I knew they ‘knew’ it was going to be VERY HOT! We stopped outside the southern end of Las Vegas to explore a phenomenal work of land art called ‘Seven Magic Mountains’ or #7MagicMountains created by artist Ugo Rondinone.  I gathered what I had in my suitcase and thoughtfully put together a desert-inspired look!

Watch your step because there are snakes in the area!  My Asian zodiac sign is snake so I wasn’t too alarmed.  Make sure to prepare yourself to handle the heat because the temperature in Ivanpah Valley reaches into the triple digits!

I love my western style fringe boots! They are an oldie but a goodie and pair well with everything (love this one too)!

With this desert chic look I decided to pair it with a brown leather belt that is a classic and simple way to accessorize many outfits like maxi dresses, skirts and sheath dresses.  Don’t shy away from accentuating your waists’ ladies!?! This brown belt here is a good choice!

There once was a time I wasn’t so spontaneous and would never of suggested a detour from our intact schedule.  But, I have learned to be more flexible and less of a control freak!  My family and I always have FUN when we do things out of the ordinary!  Here are 3 tips that to help you throw caution to the wind and savor life fully:
