When I received an invitation for an End-of-Summer Brunch Party with Rao’s Homemade from Instagram darling Rachel Pitzel of @xo.rachelpitzel, I immediately said yes! Rachel and I have been friends through Instagram this year and it has been so fun to get to know her. I am inspired by her adorable, positive, informative, and relatable posts on social media. I couldn’t wait to meet her in person and experience the goodness of Rao’s Homemade first-hand!
It’s All About the Sauce!
The brunch party took place in Venice, CA which is know for its fun, upbeat, and unique beach vibe. The setting was absolutely gorgeous and every detail was taken care of. Beautiful delicate summer blooms adorned the table, each place setting was curated perfectly, and a stylish woven tote with goodies galore from Rao’s Homemade was waiting for us to embrace.
It was so enjoyable to sit next to Rachel, her lovely mother, and my new friend Gladys @themotheroverload (see our cute Boomerang together!)! I also got to meet Rachel’s cute daughter Harper who often frequents her mommy’s style posts and amazing campaigns. The company was one of the best parts of this brunch party!
There was a fun meet-and-greet at the beginning of the brunch where I loved meeting each guest and at the end we were all excited for the nosh session to start! Dish after dish was brought out in an orderly fashion from the Rao’s Homemade Team featuring delicious organic salads, zesty pasta dishes featuring Rao’s Homemade premium pasta sauce and the fruit dessert at the end was heavenly!
Good Friends, Good Food, Good Times
There was one small part of me that resisted going because it is always a headache arranging childcare for the kids and managing travel time and traffic headaches as I allotted two hours each way for safety and promptness. But, I am so happy I decided to go. Meeting Rachel in person was such a blessing, getting feed the best cuisine by Rao’s Homemade was a huge treat, and pushing myself out of my comfort zone always yields great results.
Thank you again Rachel for the invitation and warm greeting, Osea Malibu for the mini-facials, many enjoyed rose from One Hope, and the beautiful blooms from @valleybrinkroad.
