This year the belt has made a major comeback! I remember wearing belts back in middle school and loving the statement it would make with my outfits. For some reason flashing a belt with my looks made me feel all grown up! Now, years later (ahem…) belts are back and making a satisfying rerun. This is probably a current style trend your outfit is missing!
Originally, when I ordered this tribal print jacket I had the intention of wearing it with jeans. However, when I put it on it engulfed my body and it was not a flattering look I was going for. So, I made my way into my tightly packed closet in search to find my special woven basket filled with belts of all kinds and found this vintage red belt of mine!
Cinching this belt around my over-sized jacket instantly amped up my outfit! My over-sized jacket became a chic dress and I instantly feel in love with my new look! So, whether it’s boyfriend jeans, a flowy maxi dress, classic blazer, go-to coat, or in my case — an over-sized jacket, put a belt on it, ladies!
To belt or not to belt, that is the question. I would love to hear what you think!

What I like about those wide belts is that because i am a bit plus-sized in the middle, the belt makes me look a little thinner 🙂

Nothing like a good belt to really make a look pop. It’s especially good for those wishing to portray a hourglass figure as well.
I used to wear belts like these ALL the time then I kinda just stopped for no rhyme or reason. Now I’m wanting to pull my favorites back out again!!
