Fitness is very important to me. My exercise habits have been instilled by mother since I was a teen. Thanks to her, I love to move my body and I think exercise is so much fun! I am passionate about fitness and enjoy exercising all year long. I take no breaks (except for Sundays) because it is my therapy.
During the summer, I love to take my workout outdoors. There is an amazing trail in Orange County, CA that takes your straight to San Clemente Beach and Pier. The view is spectacular and the energy is awesome. The trail is perfect for a good run and I feel so energized and happy when I am done. On days, I don’t feel like running, I enjoy a light jog or a walk. Either way, it is important to move your body!
Organic Orgain Plant Based Protein Powders help me make the most of my summer! It fuels me from the inside out and it also tastes great! It is also an important ingredient in my famous protein energy bites that my husband and children also love!
Let me tell you more about Orgain. It was founded by a cancer survivor (and this hits home for me as I used to work for The American Cancer Society) who discovered his path back to health by nourishing himself with homemade organic smoothies. Orgain is a company committed to providing clean, whole and delicious nutrition to fuel healthy, vibrant lives.
Their bar for quality is obsessively high! No matter what you health goals are…health maintenance, lose or gain weight, or just fuel for your busy day, Orgain has something for everyone — and for kids too!
Picky about your protein? I am too. I have tried a lot of protein powders in my day and Orgain leaves other powders in the dust. Their smooth consistency and delicious flavors are addictive. Say goodbye to gritty powders, you will not get that with Orgain. Loving that it has 21 grams of organic, plant-based protein.
It is awesome to know that with that incredible flavor and smooth texture your daily health is supported. Gluten free, soy free, and non-GMO. I have my pantry stocked with Orgain’s two flavors at all times: Creamy Chocolate Fudge and Vanilla Bean. Orgain Plant Based Protein Powders are completely plant based and delicious! I know I already said that, but it is worth repeating again!
Now, for the fun part…recipe sharing! You guys have got to try my Protein Power Bites using Orgain Organic Plant Based Powder – Vanilla bean. It is a delicious treat to fuel you up after a great workout. It is portable and requires no baking. Simple to make and only takes 10 minutes of your time! Give this recipe a try and let me know what you think.

Power Your Summer with Orgain Organic Plant Based Protein Powder! What gets you moving in the summer?
No-Bake Protein Energy Bites
The perfect delicious, healthy treat to replenish your energy stores after a good workout.
Dry Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups rolled oats
- 1/2 cup Orgain Organic Plant Based Protein Powder, Vanilla Bean ((about 2 scoops))
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tbsp chia seeds
- 1/3 cup chocolate chips ((I love using the mini chocolate chips))
Wet Ingredients
- 1/2 cup smooth natural peanut butter ((or any nut butter))
- 3 tbsp natural honey
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 – 4 tbsp almond milk
-
Add oats, protein powder, cinnamon and chia seeds to a large bowl.
-
Add in peanut butter, honey and vanilla extract. Stir to combine.
-
Add in chocolate chips. Mixture should be slightly sticky but still crumbly.
-
Slowly add in liquid 1 tablespoon at a time and using hands (get dirty!)
-
Combine until it comes together in a sticky ball that holds together.
-
If mixture is too dry, add in more liquid but not so much that it won’t hold shape.
-
Roll into balls using hands.
-
Place in a container to set in the fridge for at least 30 minutes.
-
Store in fridge until ready to eat.
This recipe can make anywhere from 20 to 24 energy bites. My batch usually makes around 20 because I prefer my bites to be large. I use a tablespoon to scoop out the mixture and it also helps to shape the perfect ball.

I hope the protein powder you are using does not use pea protein as it has been show to cause gout.
Sounds great, I wonder how I can use steel cut oats instead of rolled oats.
I’m going to try yours first. .
Thank you, I love orgain.
Hi Brenda. I am sure you could try using steel cut oats. I am guessing the texture could be a bit gritter; but, still delicious.
These were delicious AND my picky eater daughter actually enjoyed them too. I’ll definitely be making more.
Hi Marcia! I am so happy to hear this. I think they can easily pass for “candy!” LOL!
