In our household, Easter is synonymous with family time, cooking, egg hunts and lots and lots of chocolate. In the current circumstances, this holiday will look a bit different for our family as it will be for most people this year with more time spent celebrating at home and calling family to express love. My husband and I will most likely organize an Easter egg hunt for our kids in the backyard and they’ll be happy to be allowed to eat chocolate for lunch!

But why should children have all the fun?
Why not indulge in a little bit of color therapy and online shopping while we’re all stuck at home this Easter. Colors influence our moods and how we feel and, if you’re like me, you could probably use some soft pastels to soothe your soul.
Pastel shades look great and are easier to wear when mixed with neutrals, such as cream, beige and coffee shades, or classic items such as jeans or a simple white t-shirt. And when you’re wearing that much color, you can keep your accessories simple; think nude colored or transparent sandals, which are trending at the moment, and classic jewelry and handbags.
If you’re looking for some fashion inspiration, here are some Easter outfit ideas inspired by Spring blooms (and the occasional Cadbury Mini Egg).
Pale Pink
I get inspiration from beautiful things that surround me, such as bouquets of pink tulips, roses and azaleas.
Lavender
Is there anything more relaxing than the sight of a field of lavender blooms blowing in the wind? Why not take a mental holiday to Provence by incorporating this soft, feminine shade into your wardrobe.
Pastel Blue
Spring in California is often characterized by warm sun rays and light blue, sunny skies, I love channelling that energy into my outfits.
Peach
There is nothing better than biting into a nice juicy peach in the Summer; with the promise of better days to come, I love wearing this happy color that complements my olive skin tone.
Mint
A refreshing pale minty green looks amazing with both fair and tanned skin, especially when paired with white basics.
Pale Lemon
This is the ultimate springtime shade, reminiscent of lively Easter celebrations and sunshine-filled days.
I simply love pastel color palettes; they create an inviting, tranquil atmosphere when used around the home and romantic, feminine looks that are perfect for Easter. I would love to see your Easter outfits, comment below with your best looks! Wishing you all a Happy Easter!
