Winter in Southern California calls for an array of layering pieces that can also transition well into spring weather. This faux shearling coat (similar here) keeps you cozy for those cold months and the cascading lapel I just love! Burgundy has been a hot color this winter and this ruffled knit top (similar here) has the perfect blend of cute and comfy. Every gal needs a denim skirt because it is a clothing piece you can literally wear all year long.
I would say most of the elements of my outfit are pretty standard…not boring mind you; but classic on-trend pieces which will allow you to mix and match them all season long! However, my chic block heel ankle booties are attention grabbing! I love the geometric pattern, faux foiled snake leather print, and black dome studs. These boots were definitely made for walking! To tie in the whole look I added a croco print crossbody bag to carry my essentials in style.
