Thank you Hush & Hush for sponsoring this post. All opinions, reviews, content are my own.
The stress and anxiety brought about by the current pandemic (as well as having my three kids and husband home everyday) have my brain in overdrive. This, in turn with doing less exercise and running around that I’m used to, means that I’ve been having trouble falling asleep at night.
You guys know that I’m a huge fan of Hush & Hush’s DeeplyRooted clinically-proven supplements, which I’ve been using regularly to maintain strong, shiny hair. When I learned that they had an all-natural solution that promotes relaxation and good sleep I had to try it!
I simply take one Hush & Hush MindYourMind capsule an hour before going to bed and, soon enough, I find that my thoughts stop racing and find myself relaxed and ready for bed. This is not a miracle solution, but simply proven naturally calming ingredients combined together in a single capsule that makes it easy and convenient for us all to strive for better sleep.
MindYourMind notably contains an amino acid called L-Tryptophan, which can be naturally found in foods such as oats and peanuts and has been found to improve sleep latency[1] (the time it takes someone to fall asleep). It also contains Valerian Root extract, a flowering plant popular in Europe and Asia, which is said to help with sleep quality and insomnia without causing any major side effects[2]. MindYourMind gets its relaxing and stress-reducing properties from Rhodiola rosea root, which is said to have adaptogenic properties[3], and Holy Basil Leaf or Tulsi, a herb commonly used in the Indian Ayurvedic medical system to help one’s body maintain balance in the midst of everyday stressors[4].
This is unfortunately not the first time in my life that I’ve had trouble sleeping and I have tried taking melatonin supplements on multiple occasions in the past. While it did help me fall asleep, I always woke up feeling a bit nauseous and groggy. I’m happy to say that I have not experienced these side effects with Hush & Hush’s MindYourMind!
Along with diligently taking MindYourMind, I’ve taken extra steps over the past few weeks to promote and maintain better sleep hygiene. Our bodies are very sensitive to both natural and artificial light (such as blue light), which is why my husband and I make a conscious effort not to bring any electronic devices in our bedroom and to stop looking at screens (phone, computer and television) at least an hour before bed, as light tends to stop the natural release of melatonin, the sleep-regulating hormone, in our bodies. We also keep our bedroom temperature between 60 and 67 degrees, as one’s body temperature needs to decrease in order to be able to fall and stay asleep, and have invested in blackout curtains to keep the early Cali morning sunshine out of our bedroom, which has helped me get my much needed last 1-2 hours of sleep after dawn.
So why don’t you opt for reading a book instead of scrolling Instagram before bed and give Hush & Hush’s natural sleep supplement MindYourMind a try, you might just wake up well-rested like me!

Hi Mariya! They work very well to help you sleep better. Thanks for reading my post.
Question: Do you have to take it many consecutive nights for it to work (like Get Proper)
and can they be taken on an as needed basis? The ingredient list sounds
promising.
Thanks
Hi Chris. Yes, you can take it on the days you need it. I found it worked for me the first time taking the supplement.
