Attention Halt! Wow, I love this military inspired jacket from Free People. I spotted this beauty on the rack at Nordstorm Rack and knew I had to have it. The navy blue color commands attention and it is regal and the gold beaded embellishments is nothing short of greatness! The intricate beading wraps around the neck collar, down the front of the jacket and back, and then the beading gets even more spectacular in the SLEEVES!
There are endless ways to wear this piece and I decided to dress it up with a white pencil skirt! The white linen pencil skirt I snagged at an incredible deal at The Banana Republic Outlet in Carlsbad. The stark contrast of the white against the navy blue lends to a nautical and Marines-like vibe! The white tee shirt is a favorite from The Gap. The fabric is so yummy and it fits a woman’s body quite perfectly shapely but not snug.
Let’s talk about this stunning yellow handbag from Pour La Victoire. It definitely holds your attention and looks incredible with this military style look. Always, add a pop of bold color into your outfit ensemble for style statement power! I decided to pair this look with neutral colored heels from GUESS. Choosing heels that mimic skin color will create an illusion of longer leaner legs! Say, AMEN to that! And of course, I am wearing one of my favorite lip colors from MAC Cosmetics called Velvet Teddy.
