Dear Friends,
It’s been a while, and I’ve missed connecting with you here. Life has been a whirlwind of changes, milestones, and moments of reflection, and I’m excited to catch up with you. I’ve realized that instead of pressuring myself to stick to a rigid schedule, I’ll share here when inspiration strikes—because creativity, like life, flows best when it’s natural.

Family Updates
This Thanksgiving, our home is bustling with love and activity. Emi is home from USC for the break, and it’s so wonderful to have her here again. I’ll be picking up Chloe from UCI on Wednesday, so the whole family will be under one roof soon!
Albert, my husband, is currently in Apple Valley painting his mom’s house, and I’m gearing up to host Thanksgiving, one of our favorite holidays. Albert ordered a Thanksgiving Meal Kit from Omaha Steaks, and I added some extra sides from Blue Apron—I can’t wait to see how it all comes together. Albert’s little brother will also be joining us, making it an extra-special gathering.
Elijah had an exciting weekend stepping in as an additional player for the 14-2 volleyball team during a Friendly Tournament in Costa Mesa. He had a great time and played so well!
A Bittersweet Moment
Last Sunday marked the anniversary of my sweet brother Deboro’s passing. It’s hard to believe he’s no longer with us—I miss him so much. Not a day goes by that I don’t think of him or talk to him. His memory is such a big part of my heart, especially during the holidays.

This quote stuck with me: “Resting is not quitting.”
Sometimes, pulling back is exactly what we need to move forward stronger. This simple reminder has helped me embrace the pauses in life as opportunities for growth and realignment.
