Earthy Multi-Stripe Dress
Hello everyone! I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas spent with your family and friends. We had a simple Christmas celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ and my eldest daughter Emi’s birthday at home. On Christmas Eve, we read the scriptural account of Jesus’s birth in Luke 2 to the family. Then, the kids were allowed to pick out one present from under the tree to open which is a family tradition they love. Afterwardards, Elijah set cookies and milk for Santa and it was time for bed. Let me tell you, it was hard to get the kids to sleep that night from all of the excitement.
On Christmas morning, the child who found Percy the Pickle got to open a present first. This year Chloe found Percy and she was jumping for joy! Then, each person took turns opening their presents one by one. We then enjoyed Albert’s famous crepes for Emi’s birthday meal and had an ice cream cake. Emi got to open another set of presents for her special day and it was so sweet to see her smile and laugh. It was so much fun to be together as a family and to remember our many blessings.
This earthy stripe dress caught my eye because of the clay-like pigmented colors. I love the large gold buttons at the bodice and the tie belt at the waist. I paired it with a cute floppy hat, fringe leather handbag, fishnet anklet socks, and my favorite black block heel sandals. This dress has a definite boho vibe and is the perfect dress for fall or winter (and I do see a future with this boho dress in the summer as well). My little man accompanied me on my photo shoot and I had to get a couple of shots of him with me. Don’t you just love his smile? It took a lot of coaxing to get him to photograph with me. The effort was well worth it!
Wishing you a wonderful Christmas break. Take the time needed to relax and catch up on things you have been wanting to do. I know I am! Tonight, we are taking the kids to see Mary Poppins at the movie theatre and we can’t wait.

Hi Lau! Thank you so much. I love wearing a floppy hat with a dress! Wishing you a happy holidays too!
I love that you were able to keep your daughter’s birthday separate from Christmas. My husband’s birthday is also Christmas Day, but he’s always done birthday first, then we all do Christmas. I also love the colors in this dress, they are gorgeous together! Your little man is so handsome, too!!
Thank you so much! Happy Belated Birthday to your husband!

I like that the colors are earthy vice too bright; make for a better color scheme in my opinion. Did a great job of pairing it up with some beautiful accessories.
I love stripes, especially horizontal stripes, because they are slimming and flatter all forms. The colors in your dress are very pretty too.
What a wonderful dress! I love it and it’s definitely something I would wear. It sounds like you had a wonderful Christmas celebration, I wish you all the best for the New year!
That does look like quite a beautiful dress. I know I will have to show this one to my daughter. Wishing you all the best for this upcoming year.
Love this dress. It is beautiful. The hat and socks also catch my attention.
What a gorgeous “year round” look! You wear it well! Love the pics of you and your adorable little guy. And I loved reading about your traditions that keep Christ in Christmas. Many blessings to you and your family in the new year!
