Happy Monday! I am so excited for this new week! I have a fresh start with my goals and purpose in life. Seriously, it has been a challenging few weeks but this resistance gives me the clarity to push forward and place priority on what truly matters most in life. I have made a conscious effort to slow down this month and be available for my husband and children. This mindset has kept me grounded and provided me with the peace I need.
Reminiscing Old Times
This style post is the last one from my trip to San Diego with Albert! It was such a fun mini trip we took and the alone time is an absolute must! Meeting with Justin Chen of @focused.space photography was another awesome highlight! It was so amazing to find out that he is the husband of the beautiful Stephani of @sassandsun! Her photos taken by her husband are incredible and the pics of their little babe C makes me baby hungry!
The hero piece of my outfit is the stylish Victoria Boot from Koolaburra by UGG! I am in love with these boots! It is my first official pair of UGGS. I can see why they are a staple for many women, men and children. When colder temperatures drop these boots are your best friend! I love the mid-calf length for added warmth and the shearling lining and plush sockliner are luxury for my feet! The pull-on boot is so comfortable to wear and seriously who can get over the cute bow details on the side?
A No Turned Into A Yes
I want to share with you the funny and amazing story on how I received these boots. Well, it was through rejection! As a blogger you pitch yourself and apply to campaigns all of the time. I was so excited for this one with Koolaburra UGG because I have not owned a pair myself and it would be a campaign where my girls would take part too! I love having my family join me in campaigns!
I receive many no’s all of the time, guys! Some of the no’s hurt more than others (LOL) but nonetheless – you move forward. Even though, it was a no for this one – the coordinator for the PR company was so sweet and offered to send me a pair for free! Well, of course I said yes and I am always grateful for every contact I make in my business. Every opportunity big or small – I absolutely cherish and don’t take for granted! So, thank you Victoria for my Victoria Boot from Koolaburra by UGG!!!
