Happy Saturday! The sun is out and her rays are shining down on us here in Orange County. This warm weather is making all of so giddy! Our family is now adjusted to daylight savings time and we are not feeling like zombies anymore. We are seriously so spoiled to be living here in Laguna Niguel and I pinch myself everyday with the beautiful beach weather we receive early in spring. It makes my heart so happy!

This week was an eventful one which seemed like a blur punctuated with two huge moments. The two major highlights were attending Emi and Chloe’s new student orientation for Orange County School of the Arts and Elijah’s urgent care visit!

Savage Family Update

It was a beautiful experience taking the girls to their new school. The girls were greeted by song and cheer from OCSA’s top notch performing arts ambassadors! After the orientation meeting concluded we decided to celebrate with a family dinner at one of our favorite Vietnamese restaurants in Laguna Hills.  It was delicious as always and unfortunately I wished the night ended on that good note. When we got home this is where the second major highlight occurred.

Elijah happen to walk by the van door the same time Chloe swung it open and it hit him smack in the face. Long story short, I drove Elijah to urgent care at 8:50 PM calling the center beforehand to ensure our arrival. My little man got his first set of stitches. He was such a brave little guy! My heart was aching watching his tears well up in his eyes that night. This was our first major emergency scare!  I don’t know how other moms do it with all boys?
